Check:
Wits vs. Standard DC (or a specific DC set by the Architect).
- Skills: If you are trained in a Wits-based skill relevant to the situation (such as Perception, Investigation, or Insight), you may use that skill instead of a raw Wits check.
Results:
- Extreme Success: You gain deep insight. You may ask the Architect one specific question and receive a detailed answer, plus extra vital information or a tactical advantage at the Architect’s discretion.
- Success: You gain a useful observation. You may ask the Architect one question about the target or situation and receive a truthful answer.
- Failure: You fail to glean any useful information.
- Extreme Failure: You misinterpret the situation entirely. The Architect provides you with a plausible but incorrect or misleading piece of information.
