Description

Given time to plan, analyze, and counter a specific threat, you tailor your gadgets and tactics for maximum effectiveness.

Effect

After spending 1 uninterrupted hour preparing for a known enemy, choose one of the following benefits:

• Gain a +1 bonus per Gadgeteer level to your Gadget Tuning DC against the chosen enemy.
• Gain a +1 bonus per Gadgeteer level to attack rolls made with gadgets against the chosen enemy.

This bonus lasts for a day. You can only have 1 active preparation at a time.

Requirements for Preparation

To use this talent, you must have reliable information about the chosen enemy. This can include one or more of the following (The Architect’s discretion):

• The enemy’s identity or known alias
• Observed combat abilities, powers, or equipment
• A documented fighting style or behavior pattern
• Prior direct encounters with the enemy
• Credible intel (surveillance footage, reports, blueprints, scans, etc.)

Mere rumors, guesses, or encountering an unknown foe in combat do not qualify.
