You can push your simpler gadgets beyond their normal operating parameters, channeling extra power through them for devastating results at the cost of burning them out.
When you use a Level 0 gadget that deals damage, you can choose to overcharge it. If you do, the gadget deals double damage. However, after using an overcharged gadget, you cannot use that same gadget again until after your next long rest.
