You create a barrier in a 5-foot square within range. This barrier provides standard cover to any creature behind it. The barrier has 15 + Gadget Tuning rank HP and blocks line of effect. It is destroyed when reduced to 0 HP.
As a reaction when an ally within 5 feet of the barrier would be hit by an attack, you can cause the barrier to intercept the attack, granting the ally a +2 bonus to AC against that attack. If the attack still hits, the barrier takes the damage instead.
